Welcome to my Website!

I am a Macroeconomist with both theoretical and empirical interests. I have received my Ph.D. in Economics and Government from Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI).

My main research focuses on Firm Dynamics with a special interest in understanding how financial frictions affect firms in the economy, and as a result, aggregate productivity and output. I also work in Development Economics, particularly understanding the determinants of Poverty and Inequality both across and within countries.

For the 2020-2021 academic year, I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate of the Transmission Mechanisms and Economic Policy Research Theme in the Cambridge-INET Institute at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cambridge.

Beginning in the Fall of 2021, I will join the Department of Economics and Statistics at the the University of Naples Federico II and the Center for Studies in Economics and Finance (CSEF).
